From Recovery to Refinement: When Body Contouring Enters the Conversation
For many clients, cosmetic-surgery recovery and body contouring are two different chapters. The first priority is healing. Later, once recovery is sufficiently advanced and medical restrictions allow it, the conversation may shift toward contour refinement.

Recovery first, refinement later
Early post-op care focuses on the recovery journey and your surgical team’s instructions. Body sculpting has a different purpose. Moving from one phase to the next should be based on healing status rather than a fixed calendar date.
What body-contouring options can you discuss?
Eloria offers body-sculpting sessions for areas such as the abdomen, waist, thighs, arms, and back, subject to assessment. The service menu also includes skin-tightening and tissue-focused options. Your consultation is the place to clarify what each treatment is designed to do—and what it is not designed to do.

Can recovery and contouring be planned together?
For clients who want a structured journey, Eloria’s recovery programs progress from post-op lymphatic therapy and tissue care into contour-focused services when appropriate. This can make it easier to track progress while keeping the sequence of care clear.
Set realistic goals
Body sculpting is not a substitute for weight loss, surgery, or medical treatment. Ask what outcomes are realistic, how many sessions may be discussed, what aftercare is involved, and whether your current healing stage makes you a suitable candidate.
Not sure where to begin?
